Capitol Cares

Local service.
Real impact.

Capitol Cares brings our team, clients, friends, and neighbors together to serve the communities we call home. Through hands-on projects, local partnerships, donation drives, and volunteer opportunities, we want to make it easy for people to get involved and make a meaningful difference close to home.

Why We Serve

Community focused means showing up.

We believe strong communities are built when people choose to invest their time, resources, and attention in one another. Capitol Cares creates practical ways to do that together.

01

Volunteer Together

Hands-on projects that make it easy for our team and community to participate.

02

Support Local Needs

Focused projects where time, supplies, and financial support can make a meaningful difference.

03

Build Connection

Bring clients, neighbors, businesses, friends, and families together around service.

04

Create Lasting Impact

Keep service local, practical, and centered on the communities where we live and work.

Ways To Participate

There is more than one way to help.

Whether you can give your time, purchase supplies, contribute financially, or simply help spread the word, every contribution matters.

Give Supplies

School-confirmed supplies needed.

Peter G. Schmidt Elementary shared the following items as current needs for students and classrooms.

Crayola preferred when possibleFor crayons, colored pencils, Twistables, and markers, the school shared that Crayola products tend to last longer and break less often.
  • Crayons
  • Colored pencils
  • Twistables
  • Markers
  • Composition notebooks
  • Spiral notebooks
  • Ticonderoga pencils
  • Glue sticks
  • Scissors — small & large
  • Dry erase markers — small & large

A direct shopping/wish-list link can be added here once the Capitol Cares team selects the preferred retailer.

Impact In Action

A page that grows with every project.

As Capitol Cares serves throughout the South Sound, this section can become a living record of the work: project photos, organizations supported, volunteer stories, resources collected, and the people who came together to help.

No inflated numbers. No generic claims. Just a clear record of where the team showed up and what the community accomplished together.

Meet The Team

Meet our Capitol Cares Leadership Team.

Our Capitol Cares team helps identify local needs, organize projects, coordinate communication, and create meaningful ways for our agents, clients, friends, and neighbors to serve together.
